Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Lead strategic partnerships with MIT, CERN, and global tech giants
- Translate emerging research into patentable innovations and scalable business models
- Chair the Ethical AI Council, establishing industry standards for responsible tech deployment
- Direct $50M+ R&D budget across 4 innovation labs in SF, Boston, Tokyo, and Berlin
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD researchers and futurist specialists
- Present strategic vision at Davos, CES, and UN Tech Summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futuristics (or equivalent breakthrough experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 3+ at director/executive level
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum AI or sustainable computing
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from lab to market ($100M+ impact)
- Deep network with DARPA, EU Horizon, and national science foundations
- Fluency in 3+ languages with cross-cultural negotiation expertise
- Portfolio of 5+ patented technologies reshaping industries
- Expertise in blockchain governance and quantum-resistant cryptography
