Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum-AI hybrids and neural interfaces
- Develop strategic roadmaps for commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of futurists, engineers, and domain experts
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Translate complex scientific concepts into viable product blueprints
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies deployment
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through stakeholder alignment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with proven commercialization of emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Track record of securing >$10M in innovation funding
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Experience scaling tech startups from concept to IPO
- Strong ethical leadership in high-impact domains
