Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for tech adoption pathways
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate future solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and continuous learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (papers, patents, or keynotes)
