Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biohybrid systems, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing patent-protected solutions
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and resource allocation
- Drive technology commercialization through go-to-market strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience with patent development and IP strategy
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional)
