- Analyze global tech patents, academic research, and venture capital trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and startups in frontier technology sectors
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation within the organization
- Author thought leadership pieces published in industry journals and conference platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication abilities to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Published research or patents in relevant technology domains
