Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and carbon-negative AI systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in biotech, energy, and space tech
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and acquire emerging startups aligned with 2026 vision
- Author white papers on ethical AI frameworks and human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage a $2M annual R&D budget for experimental technology prototyping
- Coordinate with UN SDG taskforce to align innovations with global sustainability goals
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent foresight training
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or EU Horizon Europe funding
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals on future tech paradigms
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
