Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish innovation KPIs and track progress against technology adoption milestones
- Build and manage relationships with academic research institutions and technology incubators
- Author thought leadership publications and represent company at global tech summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to commercialization
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of global tech policy, ethical frameworks, and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-continental teams
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
