Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, biotech) into core product development
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track technology adoption metrics across global operations
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology adoption
- Proven track record of launching 5+ market-defining technology products/services
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or top-tier tech journals
- Experience securing $100M+ in technology innovation funding
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar strategic foresight designation
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
