We're seeking a visionary Futurist & Innovation Strategist to decode emerging trends, design transformative roadmaps, and position our organization for 2026 and beyond. This pivotal role combines deep foresight with actionable strategy execution.
As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to anticipate technological shifts, market disruptions, and societal changes. You'll translate complex future scenarios into strategic priorities that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage in an evolving digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year horizon scanning frameworks identifying disruptive technologies, market shifts, and socio-economic trends
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections and organizational capabilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to build future-proof business models and transformation initiatives
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and boards through compelling narrative frameworks
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of future-ready strategies
- Partner with R&D to identify emerging technologies requiring investment or divestment
- Author annual Future State reports with scenario planning for 3-5 year horizons
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE analysis)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3.0
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, whitepapers)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) preferred
