Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism and accuracy.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing correspondence.
- Perform general data entry and filing of documents using standard office software.
- Greet visitors and provide basic information or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and assist with light administrative tasks.
- Assist senior staff with special projects and daily operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a busy government office environment.
- Reliable transportation is required.
