Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, copying, and data entry to maintain accurate departmental records.
- Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist the public with requests for information and process applications or forms accurately and efficiently.
- Sort and distribute mail, packages, and interoffice documents to ensure timely delivery.
- Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Support department heads and staff with various administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; additional coursework in business administration or public administration is a plus.
- Previous office or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess the legal right to work in the United States.
