Responsibilities
- Manage official records, correspondence, and confidential documentation with precision
- Coordinate departmental operations including scheduling, meeting logistics, and vendor communications
- Process financial transactions, purchase orders, and budget tracking using municipal systems
- Provide exceptional constituent support via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and statistical analyses for leadership review
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong knowledge of municipal procedures and record management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Valid Texas driver's license required
