Responsibilities
- Manage departmental calendars and coordinate meetings with officials
- Process and maintain confidential records in compliance with government protocols
- Assist constituents with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Manage office supplies and equipment inventory
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports for staff
- Support departmental projects and special initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
