Responsibilities
- Manage official municipal records and digital document systems with strict compliance protocols
- Coordinate departmental communications, meetings, and public-facing inquiries
- Process payroll, procurement, and expense reports with weekly reconciliation
- Support grant applications and budget tracking for public programs
- Maintain compliance with North Carolina state and federal regulations
- Train and mentor new administrative staff on government procedures
- Generate monthly performance analytics for departmental review
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Public Administration or Business (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of government or public sector administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and clean driving record
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
