Responsibilities
- Manage official documentation, records, and correspondence with strict confidentiality protocols
- Process citizen requests, permits, and applications in compliance with municipal regulations
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications and scheduling for public officials
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for city council meetings and public hearings
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems with meticulous accuracy
- Assist in grant application processes and budget tracking initiatives
- Provide frontline public service at citizen service counters and via phone/email
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and municipal record-keeping software
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to pass background check
- Strong knowledge of local government protocols and public records laws
