Responsibilities
- Process public records requests and maintain confidential documentation
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling for officials
- Manage grant compliance reporting and budget tracking systems
- Assist constituents with inquiries regarding county services
- Prepare official correspondence and public-facing materials
- Maintain digital and physical records in accordance with Ohio Sunshine Laws
- Support special event logistics for public hearings and community outreach
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and records management software
- Ohio Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
