Responsibilities
- Process and review incoming applications for permits, licenses, and government programs with high accuracy.
- Respond to citizen inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and clarity.
- Maintain and update comprehensive records in the department's digital filing system.
- Assist in the coordination of public meetings and community outreach events.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal government regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
