Responsibilities
- Client Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for citizens, resolving inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with patience and professionalism.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date filing systems and databases for departmental records in compliance with government regulations.
- Administrative Support: Prepare reports, process forms, and assist senior staff with scheduling and meeting preparation.
- Community Outreach: Assist in organizing and promoting county programs and events to engage the local Tucson community.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative activities adhere to federal, state, and local government policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a government or public sector setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as required.
