Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and analysis to inform legislative proposals
- Develop data-driven recommendations for healthcare, education, and economic development initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement evidence-based solutions
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative testimony for state committees
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Pennsylvania communities
- Lead cross-functional teams on special policy initiatives
- Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania Sunshine Act requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing legislative proposals
- Strong stakeholder engagement and public speaking skills
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania state government operations
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
