Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate public records, files, and databases in compliance with city regulations.
- Assist the public and internal departments with inquiries regarding permits, regulations, and city services.
- Prepare and compile detailed reports, correspondence, and meeting agendas for senior officials.
- Process applications, forms, and documents for various municipal programs and grants.
- Coordinate schedules, organize meetings, and facilitate inter-departmental communication.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive government and citizen information.
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal government policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, public administration, or clerical role is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
