Responsibilities
- Process and maintain official city records, permits, and licenses with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Assist with agenda preparation, minute-taking, and documentation for public meetings
- Manage departmental filing systems and ensure compliance with record retention policies
- Support financial transactions, including fee collection and invoice processing
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and administrative workflows
- Utilize municipal software systems for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative/clerical experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and municipal record-keeping systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
