Responsibilities
- Process and review incoming applications, forms, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors at the front desk with a professional demeanor.
- Update and maintain accurate records and databases using government filing systems.
- Assist the general public with inquiries regarding city services, policies, and procedures.
- Perform basic data entry tasks and generate routine reports for department supervisors.
- Support administrative staff with scheduling, filing, and preparing meeting materials.
- Ensure the reception area and office spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driverβs License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
