Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations.
- Perform regular system backups and implement disaster recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and implement effective solutions.
- Train staff on new software applications and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or network administration within a government or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with network security tools and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Must be eligible for a government security clearance.
