Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for government operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve user experience.
- Provide technical support and training to government staff regarding new technologies.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent military/technical experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or similar (preferred).
- Proven experience in network administration and IT support within a government or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
