Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN) within government facilities.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems for agency staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols, including NIST and CUI requirements.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to internal stakeholders and government personnel.
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to mitigate risks.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate IT asset inventories.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related government role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess the ability to obtain or hold a government security clearance.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
