Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Configure and maintain hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technology solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks to meet federal standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as Security+, Network+, or CISSP preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
