Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of state information technology systems to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Analyze complex technical requirements and implement scalable software solutions in accordance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives within the state agency.
- Maintain and secure sensitive government databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy laws.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present technical reports to senior management regarding system performance and security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related government role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, database management (SQL), and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a valid State of Ohio background clearance.
