Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to state employees via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets and equipment.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts regarding system stability.
- Collaborate with vendors and other agencies to resolve complex technical issues.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with state IT policies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and security clearance evaluation.
