Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to government employees and visitors at the Raleigh facility.
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices including printers and scanners.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions in the government ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software for state agencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with government data security and privacy regulations.
- Perform routine network maintenance and hardware upgrades during off-peak weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a State of North Carolina background check and security clearance.
