Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and filing of public records and administrative documents.
- Respond to inquiries from citizens, vendors, and city staff regarding municipal services, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for departmental records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient delivery of city services and resolve operational issues.
- Assist in the coordination of weekly departmental meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite and specialized government software.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative or clerical roles within a government or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
