Responsibilities
- Monitor Operations: Oversee real-time monitoring of city surveillance systems and security feeds to detect and respond to anomalies.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents to ensure public safety.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, detailed logs of all night shift activities, incidents, and access control entries.
- Access Control: Enforce facility security protocols and manage entry/exit procedures for authorized personnel and visitors.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for night shift staff and external agencies, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine checks on security hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in government operations, security, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Clearance: Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid California driver’s license preferred.
