Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate government programs for efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance
- Develop detailed implementation plans for new municipal initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and executive leadership
- Collaborate with department heads to align program goals with strategic objectives
- Monitor program performance using KPIs and recommend improvements
- Manage grant applications and ensure proper fund utilization
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement including community forums and public hearings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government program management or analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, or Tableau)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations affecting municipal programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with budget development and fiscal management
- Certification in Public Administration (CPM or MPA) preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license
