Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor city-wide programs aligned with strategic objectives
- Manage cross-departmental stakeholder relationships and intergovernmental partnerships
- Analyze policy impacts using data-driven methodologies and compliance frameworks
- Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets with rigorous fiscal accountability
- Lead crisis response protocols for public emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive legislative reports for city council and state agencies
- Mentor junior staff while maintaining compliance with public sector HR regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years program management experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Proficiency in federal grant management (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Knowledge of Washington state administrative codes (RCW) and municipal regulations
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Clear federal background check and security clearance eligibility
- Experience with public budgeting software (e.g., Oracle Public Sector)
