Job Summary
The ideal candidate will oversee key municipal programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while improving community outcomes. You will act as a liaison between the public and city administration, driving efficiency and transparency in our operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to support the development and evaluation of municipal programs and policies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of grant applications, including writing proposals, tracking deadlines, and reporting outcomes to funding agencies.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for city council members and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and enhance service delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community stakeholders, addressing inquiries and facilitating public workshops.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local government compliance standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend strategic initiatives to city management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government, public sector, or non-profit program management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and data management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in public sector management or project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and clean driving record.
