Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community outreach programs for metropolitan initiatives
- Analyze policy impacts and prepare compliance reports for federal/state regulations
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects with 15+ agency partners
- Manage grant applications and fund allocation processes
- Conduct public consultations and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Monitor program metrics and prepare executive dashboards
- Train staff on new procedural requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government or nonprofit program experience
- Proficiency in grant management systems (e.g., Grants.gov)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
- Experience with municipal budget processes preferred
