Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and executive summaries for state officials
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces and public consultation forums
- Monitor federal policy developments and assess implications for NC programs
- Manage grant compliance reporting and performance metrics
- Represent agency at legislative hearings and intergovernmental meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS/R) and GIS mapping
- Experience with NC state budget processes and procurement systems
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Security clearance eligibility required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
