Responsibilities
- Oversee public health program implementation across 5+ Florida counties
- Analyze epidemiological data to develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets for health initiatives
- Prepare federal grant applications and compliance reports
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ public health professionals
- Respond to public health emergencies following state protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years experience in government/public health administration
- Valid Florida Public Health Administrator certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analytics tools (SPSS, SAS)
- Demonstrated success with federal grant writing and management
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC, and Florida health regulations
- Strong crisis management and emergency response experience
