Responsibilities
- Manage and organize federal and state records with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform high-volume data entry and digitization of physical documents into secure databases.
- Ensure strict compliance with government privacy regulations and retention policies.
- Conduct routine audits of filing systems to identify discrepancies and improve organization.
- Maintain and update our records management software and filing cabinets.
- Assist with the retrieval and archiving of historical data for agency staff.
- Adhere to safety protocols and office procedures during weekend operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in Records Management or Public Administration is a plus).
- Previous experience in a government, legal, or administrative setting is highly preferred.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to pass a standard background check and security clearance.
- Basic knowledge of filing systems and indexing protocols.
