Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned government facilities and grounds to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
- Enforce strict security protocols, access control procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, and entry points to identify and report potential security vulnerabilities.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, following established emergency response plans.
- Prepare detailed written reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations for government oversight.
- Interact professionally with government employees, visitors, and the public to maintain a welcoming and secure atmosphere.
- Operate security equipment, including CCTV systems, metal detectors, and communication devices.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus.
- Must possess a valid New Mexico Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure in emergency situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Background check and drug screening required for government clearance.
