Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of designated facilities and grounds to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control logs, and respond immediately to any alerts.
- Verify the identity of visitors and vendors, issuing badges and logging entry/exit details accurately.
- Enforce all city safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries using standard digital reporting tools.
- Assist emergency response teams and coordinate with local law enforcement if necessary.
- Perform minor maintenance checks on security equipment and report malfunctions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with security reporting software.
- Background check and drug screening required for final candidates.
