Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned government facilities and grounds to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and visitors.
- Control access points, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes in accordance with established security protocols.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
- Conduct regular inspections of locks, windows, and doors to identify and report potential security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
- Enforce company policies and government regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid AZ Security Guard License or willingness to obtain one immediately.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screen (Government clearance required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting purposes.
