Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo to detect potential threats to transportation security.
- Operate advanced imaging technology, X-ray machines, and explosive trace detection equipment.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures in accordance with federal laws and agency directives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Identify and resolve security anomalies quickly and accurately.

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and medical evaluation.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
