Job Summary
As a Security Officer for our government contracts, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and order. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Monitor and control access points to government facilities, verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergency situations, and distress calls.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries using security software.
- Enforce company policies and federal regulations within the facility.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and inquiries in a professional manner.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Previous security experience in a government or industrial setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical duties for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
