Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, businesses, and government officials in person, via phone, and email.
- Manage and update official government records, databases, and filing systems with strict accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence for department heads.
- Process applications, permits, and licenses efficiently in accordance with state and local regulations.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.
- Conduct routine administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and supply management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related government/public service role.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and government database systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
