Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming inquiries from the public via phone and email with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Process and maintain accurate digital and paper records for government files and personnel.
- Assist in the preparation and verification of documents required for weekly payroll processing.
- Coordinate schedules for department heads and attend meetings as a note-taker.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal government regulations and confidentiality protocols.
- Provide administrative support to various city departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
