Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex information systems and software solutions for city departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and develop technical specifications.
- Ensure all systems comply with federal, state, and local government regulations and security standards.
- Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and training materials for end-users and technical staff.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage project timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis, IT project management, or a related technical role within the public sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C# and experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background investigation.
