Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for government clients.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) protocols, including Active Directory and multi-factor authentication.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement proactive security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and software updates.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior system administrators and support staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure roles.
- Experience with government contracting environments and federal security compliance (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- Active Secret Clearance or willingness to undergo a government background investigation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
