Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports aligned with organizational goals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with funding partners and community stakeholders
- Coordinate grant application processes, ensuring timely submission and compliance requirements
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations for program development
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting systems
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of proven grant writing experience with measurable funding success
- Exceptional writing skills with portfolio of funded grant proposals
- Deep knowledge of funding landscapes for Texas nonprofits and foundations
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and program evaluation
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang)
- Certified Grant Writer (GPC) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
