Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and analyze local, state, and federal grant opportunities that align with our organizational goals.
- Write clear, persuasive, and compliant grant proposals, narratives, and budgets for a variety of funding sources.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather necessary data and stories to support funding requests.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including submission tracking, reporting requirements, and compliance adherence.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our fundraising strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related field within the non-profit sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of securing funding from diverse sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to interpret complex funding guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
