Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop persuasive grant proposals aligned with organizational goals and funder priorities
- Collaborate with program directors to create budgets, narratives, and impact statements
- Manage grant application deadlines and ensure timely, compliant submissions
- Prepare progress reports and steward relationships with current funders
- Analyze funding trends and identify new strategic opportunities
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of proven grant writing experience for 501(c)(3) organizations
- Track record of securing $500k+ annually in diversified funding streams
- Expertise in federal, state, and private foundation grant applications
- Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
- Proficiency with grant management systems (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and impact measurement
